I would suggest doing it in a sort of meditative way, maybe before you got to sleep, get rid of all other thoughts and think about yourself leaving, think about it with a good feeling, think about happy surroundings, co mfort, what you might do when you leave, and then also imagine yourself coming back, so you can imagine coming and going freely.
i don’t know anything about hypnosis in particular but I know that the mind over matter, imagining thing really helps
